HUMAN/AB INTERACTIONS
Some Musings on How to Relate to More Advanced Beings
by
Paul Von Ward (12/2008)

First, let's start with the big picture. I see our universe as an integral organism which reflects the intention of the creative force I sometimes call the "grand couple" to experience its potential in as many ways as possible. This suggests that all aspects (particularly self-aware species) contribute to the overall experiment of self-learning and self-evolution. It includes life forms in multiple dimensions to engage in yin/yang (passive/active) epicycles of creation and destruction, within cycles of incarnation and disincarnation — with all levels progressing as they learn from their mistakes and new opportunities. The result is greater and greater empowerment of the whole as individuals make their own choices that add or detract from the overall harmony. While there are failures and detours along the way, individuals and species progress from one "grade" to another until they "graduate" or "drop-out."

In this context, I believe we are members of a "humanoid" species (which includes so-called masters and other advanced beings (ABs) who interact with us from other dimensions and in this one) that exists in a larger inter-galactic community of conscious species. This humanoid group appears to be one of the younger species that is evolving through alternative dimensions to an as yet unknown transformation at the level of a universe.

All conscious beings are direct manifestations of the universal source (for physicists -  the quantum substratum of all manifestation in this universe). Consequently, we have the direct responsibility of using our "talents" (as Jesus allegedly called them two millennia ago) in the best manner we can. The varying degrees of built-in, free will each individual possesses, regardless of incarnation or not, places both the power and responsibility of choice on him or her for how much they contribute to the overall progress of the multiple-dimensional species.

In this context, we are bound in this journey with all members of this species whether incarnate or on the other side. It is this shared process that we experience contact with others capable of communicating with humans. The success of the whole "humanoid" species depends on all of us doing our share of the "heavy lifting" as we together learn how to realize our potential in the whole universe. ABs who share their insights with us think they may help us along the way, individually and as a group. When we are in the AB role vis-a-vis other species, we should try to do the same.

The rub comes when either side fails to respect the integrity of the other side (just as when one individual on Earth transgresses the personal boundaries of another) when trying to be helpful. The model of good teachers or parents is instructive here. They recognize the inviolate soul of the child or student when they offer their support, insight or guidance, and then let him make his own choices.

Since all of us are still evolving through learning from our experience (read experimentation), we can expect that we will make mistakes and even hurt one another from time to time. In my view we can help each other best by being a good example and forgiving the other's mistakes. Sometimes other beings may exercise what we sometimes call "tough love" with the best of intentions. I have no problem with this as long as it is clear that this is what is happening and the intended recipient can reject it. If ABs are trying to help, not control we should be open to such communications.

From my study of history, I have concluded that the larger degree of culpability for our inter-dimensional communication issues lies on those of us presently incarnated. This has been largely the result of the rise of supernaturalism in western religions, where we have made "divine" beings (seen as perfect and always to be deferred to) out of anyone in a more "advanced" situation than the current level of human development. Psychologically this tends to absolve humans of the responsibility for their own mess and makes them dependent on the blessing and recognition of any entity not presently in physical form. (My book Gods, Genes, & Consciousness is an attempt to understand how we modern humans got to this point.)

Finally, if you're still with me, all this points to my suggestion that we take under advisement the suggestions of all ABs who speak to us and then, consciously and independently, try to figure out how to use it to make progress for ourselves individually and for our society. After all, in the depths of our individual and collective consciousness, we have the experience of eons to depend on. When the AB advice is evaluated through our multi-dimensional experience and what we have learned this lifetime, we will be able to make choices that reflect the most solid base possible.

My desire is for a "humanoid" experience with all other consciousness species, regardless of their origin, where we share the best we can offer from our various perspectives and then support each other (in whatever dimension) in our unique paths. We'll all get where we're ultimately going faster and more successfully and joyfully when we honor our cosmic connections and also respect our differences. The richer our experiences, the richer will be the tapestry woven during the maturation of this universe.
