History must be corrected when new evidence appears!

History is always written, censored, and rewritten by the winners! What happens when important facts of the real story are left out? What if Nazi Germany had prevailed in World War II? Would the future history books still showcase the democratic principles and values of the American Revolution? No! In the 22nd century, humans would be living in a different reality—with new customs, institutions, and even consciousness.1 Such a scenario may have already happened—a tsunami-level of historical revision may have destroyed a swath of 8,000 years of human experience and knowledge.

The growing number of potential life-bearing planets being identified by astronomers increases speculation that humans will have contact with advanced beings (ABs) in the future. However, major Hindu, Sumerian, Egyptian, Hebrew, and other historical texts include detailed accounts that indicate AB-human interactions have already occurred.

Whether we believe there is no truth to these ancient descriptions of astronauts or gods from the skies, the writers’ accounts of their actions clearly indicate that our forebears believed their interaction with ABs to be real. Pre-historic art, artifacts, and historical anomalies support the thesis that our ancestors actually had such contacts. Continue reading here.....

THE REAL HUMAN STORY? Homo sapiens have never been alone on Earth. Whether you call them gods, angels, ETs, or aliens, sufficient proof now exists that beings more advanced than humans have influenced our history. Evidence suggests that these outsiders manipulated our genes, shaped our cultures, and introduced us to advanced knowledge and  technology, Their presence, followed by a precipitous departure,  influenced the founding of supernatural religions. In fact, their intervention in human development provided the impetus for modern civilization.

Paul Von Ward investigates why contemporary science and religion refuse to address the possibility that humans interacted with and continue to communicate with Advanced Beings (ABs). He reviews sacred texts, myths and legends--from the Old Testament, Hebrew texts, and the Vedas, to the Greek myths, Sumerian tablets, and other historical sources to make the link between religions, their gods, and alien intervention. He shows how this history of AB intervention has been suppressed and challenges readers to reexamine the origins of notions like "divine revelation" to find common ground among the world's cultures and religions.

Response to We've Never Been Alone from a Christian minister working to reform its retrogressive tendencies from within.

"I, too, am concerned about the "Dominion Theology" in that these religious extremists want to set up a theocracy.  They have not learned one thing from history.  That is the worst form of government known to man in that you can never criticize the theocrat in charge because he (won't be a woman) is God's representative on earth.  Actually, the Papacy is a theocracy and the Pope is the vicar—[alleged] God's rep. on earth.  We can see what that has done for the Catholic Church.  It needs to become democratic.  We can see a theocracy at work in Iran.  Who in one's right mind would want that?  And, no, Christian theocracies have not worked better than non-Christian ones.  We had plenty of those in Europe with "The Holy Roman Empire."  Kings and Emperors were crowned by the Pope or Papal representative.

Fundamentalists [will] shudder at Paul's perspective on religion, but I am glad that he sees the value of my work and is supportive.  I trust that I/we could be of some help to him and his work."

Response to a reader's praise for Zecharia Sitchin and Paul's references to his research:

"Thanks for your nice email. Yes, we have a common admiration for Zecharia Sitchin's work. My interest was stimulated when I received a copy of The 12th Planet about 1990 from Bill Whitson and Judy Skutch (publisher of the Course in Miracles material). I later met Zecharia at conferences where we both presented and found him to be a scholar par excellence. This book would not have happened without his well established evidence." Paul

To Change the Future, Change the Story
by David Korten

As We've Never Been Alone changes the human story, it will change the world as David Korten expresses in his general principle below:

" (An) Empire’s power depends on its ability to control the cultural stories and language that shape our collective understanding of our world and our choices as a species. Empire stories induce a kind of cultural trance that conditions us to accept the dominator relations of Empire as just and righteous and to dismiss talk of alternatives as naïve, dangerous, or even sinful. Once we recognize the truth that Empire stories deny, the trance is broken. To change the future, change the story."

[David Korten is author of Agenda for a New Economy: From Phantom Wealth to Real Wealth, The Great Turning: From Empire to Earth Community, and When Corporations Rule the World.]

While Paul Von Ward believes his evidence and reasoning are sound and worthy of scholarly and public scrutiny, he also urges his readers and media audiences to make their own assessments. A place to start is reading the collegial comments of anomalies researcher George Wingfield.
